The Christian God and Reason

That the Christian God does not value logic and reason, is a telling fact.  For He makes it a requirement of man to abandon reason —  that he should acknowledge His existence by means of groundless faith, lest he be cast into a lake of fire.  Any Christian who makes the bold claim that God values reason would be faced with a curious paradox, for certainly, his god is one that promotes ignorance and unreason, as is easily demonstrable by the fact (as has been dogmatically established by the scriptures) that man would find himself the path to his eternal reward not one which is decided by his capability to reason, nor by his unfailing good-will, but solely by his certitude and stubborn devotion to a concept for which no empirical and/or logical proof can, or could ever be, sufficiently provisioned.
