Out of curiosity, if God appeared to you and told you to kill your own child, would you do it?
(Don’t say God wouldn’t, because He did.)
No because God wouldn’t. We’re all individuals and we’re tested in unique ways.

can you sight your basis for the question you raised tim? so we can established a common ground to discuss with? oh by the way to answer your question, the answer would be NO
about God killing a child? apart from Jesus as a sacrifice for mankind’s sins, when did He do so?
“Out of curiosity, if God appeared to you and told you to kill your own child, would you do it?
Would I kill my son? No (that would be murder)!
” (Don’t say God wouldn’t, because He did.)”
God wouldn’t! That is contrary to Christian doctrine. Nowhere in the Bible is it written “Lamont Sacrifice your only son to me.” The canon is closed. God has already spoken! Done deal! I am glad to see that believe He asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac though! Good for you Tim!
